""I know that operator. I know that she is a very good operator," said Harris. "She is very thorough."
And the mother is thoroughly dead.$%*)*%$@#UNIONS!!
All the comments are potentially accurate. Please, to all, this is the media that is presenting reality. Yes, more 911 calls should be responded to. Yes, the operator should get hers too.
But... the article conveniently states nothing about the cause of death. She may have been dead when the child made the call. It takes about fifteen minutes, if I am lucky for the cops to respond to a call in my neighborhood. If she had a life threatening issue, which she did, then would she have been alive when help could have arrived?
And...yes, I hope this type of incompetent handling does not happen to anyone else, but what do you expect from the government. And... why are we all knee jerk reacting to a probably liberal media article.
No. This operator is not a good operator. Maybe once, but not any more. Time to go 'bye 'bye. - Poor child. He did all he could, and the OPERATOR let him down. Pray for this baby to be healed of the guilt of NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE operator TO TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY. From the transcript, it was not for lack of trying.
