you've beaten me here

So kind of you
to be here to greet me
I left the light on
as fatima and Johnn
lingered here.
The muse kept going
round my head
nary a moment of sleep
I got.
The giggles moved in
round three am
as a mirthful poem
begun to spin.
'Twas all in my head
never made the pen
