I'm just now getting ready to go read some more of the posts on your thread. i just read Hair's. HMMMMMMMMMMMM, might just be a bunch of know it all, arrogant, farriers, who like to hear them selves talk shop but don't explain WHY:).
I may have to stay away from there. They'll just give me more to worry about then I already do, and I think trying to "fix" things is why I'm in the mess I'm in now.

Farriers that have enough time to post on a forum? That's good they have such a board, but I bet it would get confusing. You might find some good information to ask your farrier.

Exactly right!!! I've made the same mistakes with Tuffy, . In trying to help Tuffy I think we've made him worse. The more crap I try, the worse he gets.
You're also right about the arrogant farriers. Some of them do come across as prima donna know-it-alls.
