NEW YORK (AP) -- Lindsay Lohan was treated at a London hospital last week after she cut her leg in an accident at Bryan Adams' home, according to published reports.
The 19-year-old "Mean Girls" star had 10 stitches to close a gash on her shin after she slipped on a set of stairs Friday. Lohan was released from the hospital later that day, the reports said.
"She and her friends were preparing breakfast, with eggs and everything, and Lindsay was going up the stairs, carrying a ceramic teacup," her mother, Dina Lohan, was quoted as telling Star magazine.
"She had just come out of the shower so she was still wet and had some lotion on, and she completely flipped on the stairs since it was slippery. The teacup went flying, it was shattered, and one of the pieces cut Lindsay in her shin. It was an accident."
Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Lohan was doing fine and was filming on schedule.

The actual event: Lindsey Lohan was sligtly injured when the stolen Bentley she was driving was unable to negotiate a sharp turn at high speed, went through a guardrail and bushes, down a steep incline, fliped 6 times and landed wheels-down in a wading pool at a local YMCA. She immediately lurched out of the car, threw soem bottles of unknown beverages into a trash bin, grabbed a ceramic tea cup from a child's tea party, made a fast phone call, and dashed out to the front of the YMCA where she was picked up by Bryan Adams' car before police arrived.
Bryan Adams' home? She and friends? Sounds like something really kinky going on there.

..I had visions of Lindsey involved in a mishap while riding a Teacup at the Magic Kingdom, Mr.Toad's Wild Ride......I'm serious.
Even that thought seemed a little ludicrous.
But this teacup on the stairs sounds ridiculous!

It is sad to see these childhood stars grow up. They have everyone at their feet and they are too immature to handle it. Some grow out of it like Drew Barrymore (who is still a liberal idiot, but at least got her act together), but many don't and end up broke and drug addicted.
Oh... I thought it was the spinning teacups at Disneyland. Those things are lethal!
