First -- it is Kobe. I don't think KFI gave the score of the game. Perhaps they did and I missed it.

They were down by 14 at the half to lowly Toronto, I guess Kobe just decided to take matters into his own hands.

Who cares. Seahawks are going to the Superbowl!

What is this "basketball" game you are talking about? ;-)

When my mom called and told me about that (it was 74 at the time), I asked her, "how bad did they lose?"

He scored 55 in the second half. The Lakers won the game 122-105, after trailing at one point to the Raptors by 18.

He breaks the Laker record held by current Clipper GM Elgin Baylor (71). (Elgin also had a 64 point game as a Laker.)

Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point game was with Philly, not the Lakers. His Laker record was 66.

What's the Lakers record? It's not as if they're 33-5, like the Pistons.
