Just back from the doctor ... Vlad weighs 10 lbs., 10 oz., slightly over a pound gained per week, average. He's also grown 3". Makes the whole Ravenous Maw routine worthwhile :-).
They took a blood sample to check for jaundice and something or other else, because his eyes are a little yellow and his hands are pale. Not sure what that means, but they'll phone me if anything needs to be done.
Now I'm off to feed him again, and hopefully have a nap afterward. The medical practice was slow today; I expected to be home by noon!
Okay, so I missed by a pound or so ...
... Wait-a-minute! -- He wasn't circumcised in between times, was he?
That's great about the baby! He certainly has put that whipped cream to good use!
