Brunswick is on the coast, very flat there. Great fishing for sea trout and redfish. And most kids love to shoot if given the chance. If they come around me, they get the chance. I think it is the same with you.

Ah, I've always had a weakness for a Georgia peach lady (and I KNOW some on FR from CPAC are laughing as I post this).
Believe it or not, I didn't start shooting till I was 19. Life long fisherman though, and still fondly remember my deep sea fishing trip. Red Snapper and bluefish. Second only to rainbow trout and salmon.

But I think the saltwater fish taste even better. My BL can really cook them up!

I was wondering that as well. My waterlines are a good 18" below the ground surface so as to be below the "frost line". And I figure the same would apply in Georgia as in Tennessee.

That's just a tragedy all away around. They mentioned it on the radio the other morning while driving to work. Hearing that husband's 911 call was pretty sad.

Next time, use blanks. They work fine in revolvers, bolt action and slide action rifles. Shotgun blanks are particularly impressive. In some cases blank firing adapters are available for gas operated semi-autos. (AR-15 and SKS for certain, likely AK as well) There's even a blank firing adapter for the M2 .50 BMG machine gun, should you have one of those. Absent a BFA, you just have to manually eject the blank rounds and chamber a fresh one.

Darn. All I had was some out of date 25mm parachute flares.
4 of those dangling in the sky at midnight is pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
