yes, ridiculing the Virgin Mary is a conservative ideal /sarcasm. You have been told this repeatedly, but fail to comprehend it. The episode was criticizing those who put their faith in grilled cheese sandwhiches and the such. It was not ridiculing Mary. It was also a bit mocking of AA and 12 step programs.

OK, you stuck in a gratuitous plug for your favorite cause on FR with:
"My tinfoil hat theory is that the South Park Haters (and their cousins, the Rabid Creationists).." So here's mine:
"Illegal aliens suck."
We're even & Cartman still rules.

I noticed in the preview to Ringer, there was a part similar to an event in a SP episode; Johnny Knoxville is in confession and tells of his plans to enter the Special Olympics and the priest reaches out and strangles him. Very similar to when Cartman was in confession.

Who says who gets to decide what is funny? If you don't like it and it offends you, by all means, turn it off. But please spare me the intellectual hautiness of "I am so much more intellegent and sophisticated and thus know what is/isn't funny." Like the King of the Hill episode where Bobby went to clown school.

I was given the South Park chess set for Christmas, and Big Gay Al is the queen, of course. ROFL

I started reading this, expecting to find the self-described righteous indignation mongers abundant, but to my happy surprise, this topic is correctly getting the what-for. Ahhhhhhhhh....does my heart good. Carry on, people.

I do like "American Dad" though No real conservative would watch American Dad. No show on television mocks conservatism and patriotism more than American Dad. You sir are a CINO!
I was being sarcastic! But the show does have a strong bias against conservatives and patriotism. But it is funny as hell.

In case you hadn't noticed God is not the "name" of our Lord. BTW its a secret name that we are not to utter. Unless we are a high priest of the temple his name would be considered "used in vein" should it pass our lips.

Part and parcel of the degenerate world we live in, which is why it's important to take a stand for what's right instead of just "turning the channel." Meaning South Park should be taken off the air?

I still like Patrick Stewart from "ST:TNG", forgive me. But I truly thought the Karl Rove as the Dark Emperor scene was hillarious. It only reinforced liberal misperceptions about us.

It was a great episode. So far I haven't seen a bad episode of AD. I still don't understand the purpose of the fish.
