Kimbers seem like very premium hardware to me, but I have heard some criticism just lately, something about the frame, perhaps....so not owning one, I defer to the curator of our gun room.
If he ain't already tried to blow it up from the inside, or accelerate wear by heavy use, it must be a prototype. If he doesn't already own 3 of them, it's probably not worth owning. If it's a .45, you've come to the right place.
