Hello, KAC!

I am always glad to hear from you. I have to admit that all of you talented, organized, efficient people make me realize just how far I have to go to catch up with y'all! LOL

Almost all of my shopping is done and most of the ordered stuff has arrived. Still waiting impatiently for several small items that could not be found in my limited market.

And, even though this is not needlework ... I scanned some very faded old photographs that belong to my 93 year old friend. I am trying to enhance them and then will make a small grouping of the ones that will mean most to her [her great-grandparents on both sides, grandparents, etc., among others] ... and make a collage type page that I can frame for her for Christmas. I am working on things as fast as I can and listening to the clock tick away the minutes ...

This autumn has been so busy with one thing or another ... or with the needs of others [including Hurricane Katrina houseguests] that I have not had a spare moment to pick up a piece of needlework.

Our children will be home for a few days just before Christmas ... and we will have one of our rare times when the whole family is reunited.

Hopefully, the new year will bring more peace of mind to all ... and more time for the tranquility of needlework ... we can certainly hope for that.

Cheers!

It has been such a rough year all over the world. I pray that the Lord has brighter things in store for the world in the year to come.
