Well, I had to admit to my niece that I wasn't going to have her socks done in time for Christmas.

But I did get all the shopping I'm going to do outside of eatables done!

And how about you>

LOL! The title of this thread, made me think of an old 'Averngers' TV series episode, in which there was
a sort of british "Murder Inc.", and all the victims
were killed by little old ladies, using knitting
needles.

Old Gran wants to check the fit of this sweater i'm
knitting..."

There was a question on Card Sharks this morning where the staff asked 100 Marines if they knew how to knit. I think 23 out of 100 knew how to knit. An interesting tidbit, I thought. The episode was from 1989 so the numbers probably have changed some, over the past 16/17 years.

We're decorating this weekend. I'm having an open house for 25 next Sunday. I have the stockings done for my new daughter in law and son in law. I'm not through shopping yet. I'm not out to get any rare and hard to find anything. I do have fantasies of making about six dozen cookies tomorrow. And I don't even eat cookies. LOL

I have only to bind off the shawl for my mother, then start on a scarf for my mother-in-law, and I'm done. The shawl is a little wonky, but the yarn is so pretty, and will bring out her eyes so well, I'm really pleased with it.

Where can I find more information about this? I knit, crochet, embroider and cross-stitch (not all at once, though, LOL! :-)
