OK, I was out and about today and I saw a typical yellow ribbon magnet on the rear of an SUV. However, when I looked closer, it had wording in it which said "Bring the Troops Home". Next to it was a blue ribbon magnet which said "Peace". I was wondering if people could please post here pictures of all of the ribbon-type magnets they've seen on cars, because I'm losing my mind keeping track of them.
Also, what was the first "yellow-ribbon" type magnet, and when did it appear?
Lastly, when you post your ribbon magnet picture, if you could please write something about what type of person you would assume would have this on their car, such as "peace mom", or if it's yours, just say something about yourself, like "gun owner, ex-marine", etc.
Alas, I am picture posting challenged, but I have had two yellow ribbons on my car, both of which have been stolen. I've settled for a stars and stripes antenna ball, and so far, it's stayed on.
You have waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much time on your hands, pal.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but I saw this bumper sticker in Oceanside today "It takes an army of patrollers to stop us."
