In a stunning announcement, GQ magazine has revealed that its "Man of the Year" nomination for 2005 will go to none other than Jennifer Aniston.
Putting modesty aside, Aniston, who featured heavily in gossip magazines this year over the break-up of her marriage with Brad Pitt, has starred on the cover and in a photo spread of the 10-year history of GQ's "Men of the Year" issue, wearing only a denim skirt, reports Zap2it.
According to the editor of the magazine, Mark Healy, the former Friends actress earned the honour because she showed a lot of poise, grace and good humor during her breakup with Brad Pitt this year. This year she divorced husband Brad Pitt, who began a relationship with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.
The magazine's other two "Men of the Year", are, however, more traditional.
Vince Vaughn was picked for being "hilarious, charming and smart," while 50 Cent won for being "endlessly" fascinating
please tell me she doesn't have a penis!
Vince is a good choice. One of the few actors of his generation who actually behaves like a man. ;)
Did Aniston have a sex change?
wow, Anniston is a Shemale - !!!!
I'd hold on considering the source.
Four posts and no requests for pictures for "proof"? That is the real story here!
There was a rumor about some - er - "injections"...
Jumping the Shark!
Prediction: 2006 will be the last year anyone talks about this endlessly fascinating person.
Apparently, even FreeRepublic has been taken over by girlie-men.
Does that mean you are offering to keep track of the death pool for him? ;)
Some publicist sure earned their salary with this coup.
If America knew exactly how these decisions are made, how magazine 'top 10' people lists are assembled, and how one nobody actor makes an Entertainment Weekly cover over another nobody actor, their heads would spin.
He'll have a hard time edging out Jim McGreevey.
This is, in a word, stupid.
Ya know, I'm getting real tired of all the shenaningans, the "new way" of looking at things, the endlessly ridiculous new ways people try to spell their namez, the constant arguments about whether women can do as well all the things men do, etc, etc, etc!
All it is is a bunch of shameless attempts at getting airtime.
I just remember a Drudge show where he babbled on and on about how she couldn't make a dime with any of her movies, but she keeps getting cast. IMDb has 5 of her movies in post-production.
Jennifer Peniston?
Oh lord, the editors at GQ are fans of the "Family Guy" series.
