I am a left handed crocheter; have not tackled any projects in the past couple of years, but have made over the years: afghans, kid's purses, scarves for mr. uvular, several filet crochet pieces, such as a curtain panel, antimacassers(you put 'em on the back of a chair), and a scenic Home Sweet Home wall hanging. Over the years, I've probably pulled out as much thread and yarn as I have finished!
Also sew, mostly curtains, and if I buy curtains, I'll put my own trims on them.
I've made simple curtains, but nothing too complex.
I too have ripped out lots. Still do. Mostly abandoned projects that I know I will never finish, but that's life!
