Yeah, and from what I could understand (I wasn't listening real closely), he won't be contributing a lot of money/resources to this. He just wants other people to contribute. It's just another way to sell subscriptions and make a profit.

If he really wanted to earn admiration, he'd just take that validated database he talks about, and just give them all a subscripton.

He already said he is contributing himself.....from his super-secret credit card. He can't give away bandwidth for free....and he's giving a discount. If they service men don't want it....they won't sign up for it.

You obviously haven't been listening to him. He just said that he would donate a"SUBSTANTIAL" number of subscriptions.

Actually, he is donating to "the cause", like he always does every time he asks people to give money. As I understand it, this whole thing was started because of Harkin trying to get him off of AFRTS, because it isn't "fair" that there's no lib voice.

Rush said he would be contributing a substantial amount of accounts with his "super secert" credit card.

I was listening closely.

You're wrong. He said he was making a substantial contribution of his own money out of his own checking account. He also denounced those celebrities who "contribute" to a cause by giving their time but not their money. Could you be a DUmmie??

If he really wanted to earn admiration,

Uh.....capitalists earn CA$H. Admiration comes to them for hard work. Lemme understand your perspective, who would you say has contributed more to society (in the world) and deserves more respect and admiration, Rush, or Linus Torvalds?

Ah, he does contribute heavily to the Marine Scholarship Fund.

I think Rush has a great idea...I'll be able to find out what soldier I'm giving a subscription to...AND IF E-MAIL RELATIONSHIPS DEVELOP, YOU WATCH AND SEE: THE SOLDIERS WILL SHOW AND TELL US ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS HAPPENING IN IRAQ!

Tom Dung-heap Harkin just stepped in it big time...bonds will be forged with the conservative base and the soldiers. Who KNOWS how much good will come from this? The goodwill alone will be immeasurable, but we also are likely to see political action in support of winning the War on Terror; it'll make the Sheehan Sycophants wet their undies.
