Still one of my favorites...during the Red Sox victory parade (Sox "brain trust" John Henry, Tom Werner, and Theo Epstein--who?--were solidly behind Kerry. Meanwhile Curt Schilling, on Good Morning America: "Everybody get out and vote, and vote Bush."
from Valley News:
On Sunday, Epstein appeared with team owners John Henry and Tom Werner at a Kerry rally in New Hampshire. On issue after issue, the scouting report comes out straight A's for John Kerry, Epstein told a crowd in Manchester.

I find it funny how some folks still don't get why the early exit polls were so wrong.
The Bush surge came later in the day, because Bush voters were at WORK when the early exit polls were done.

They still haven't figured out why they lost. they still don't have a new strategy. An honest assessment of why they lost should have taken place after the election, but any effort vanished after a month. They still don't get it. They hired Dean as the spokesperson and blamed it all on "Jesusland". All they are doing is trying to find a way to sneak high taxes and filth like gay marraige past the voter.
As bad as the GOP has been this year, they are blessed by having democrats as their opponents.

Another thing that stands out to me is the guy with a heavy accent who was at my polling place saying to people handing out Demo literature that "we got to get rid of Butch. As soon as Butch is out, everything will be fine." I burst out laughing at him. I thought of him the next day as President Butch was giving his victory address. LOL.

They're still whining about losing in 2000. It's hard to coalesce around a strategy plan when you can't get over an event that happened 6 years ago</p>

I loved the post that reproduced a prediction of a big Kerry win by Richard "You Ain't Gene Siskel" Roeper. He predicted
Bruuuuuuuuuuce would be singing "Glory Days" at the Kerry
inaugural, but the poster did his own parody:
"That's 318 electoral votes for Kerry, 220 for Bush. I can see the Boss playing President Kerry's Inaugural Ball now: "Glory days, glory days ..."
John Kerry claimed to be a big war hero back when I was in school.
Then he got caught in a lie 'bout his service; And now he looks like a fool.
He used to boast "Bring it on!" but now he just cries ... "Cut it out!"
But whenever he gets up in front of a crowd, he can't resist lyin' aboutttttt ........ his
Glory Days!! Now he just plays the part
Glory Days!! of a vet with a Purple Heart
Glory Days!! Glory Dayyyyyyys!!!

Happy Anniversary, everyone! Election night '04 was something else. I won't forget it any time soon. I was nervous as a cat. No, make that, I was so fired up I made our cats nervous. That's far closer to the truth.
Yes, yes, I know. President Bush isn't perfect. His administration isn't perfect. None ever have been or will be. BUT he is a far, far better man for our country than that beastly sKerry would have been. And now you know how I feel.
