Any NYC Freepers near the U.N. right now? (Vanity)

My husband just called from his cell. He is a block up on the street from the U.N. He said 50 police Cars just came flying by with more coming, going to the U.N.
Anyone in NYC see or hear anything?

UPDATE... He just called back and said in fact it was a terror drill. He asked an officer a few blocks up. Sorry for the Vanity guys :)

A year or so ago, one of the police shows ..I think it was NYPD BLUE)..that films all or part in NY was doing an exterior shot in midtown..when all of a sudden these 50+ NYPD units screamed past..sirens and light going...to the next block..it was a practice response...the cameras kept rolling..and they incorporated it into the program...great footage...it came out when a few days after th show aired, some NYC councilman wanted to know why the NYPD was going to such an expensive effort for a TV show..

another possibility..after all the activity at the UN the last few weeks..an post-action critique might have revealed some apparent weaknesses in the NYPD deployment/response...so they ran this exercise to see if they had corrected it..
