AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1691) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | September 7, 2005 | All of Us

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Four people have died as a result of norovirus, an easily spread cause of diarheea and vomiting, caused by infection associated with contact with the contaminated flood waters of New Orleans.

The EPA is testing what, exactly, is in the flood waters, and preliminary results will be available by weeks end.

It is known now, however, that e. coli is present in the water at 450,000 times safe levels.

NOPD officials say there are about 10,000 residents remaining in New Orleans, and those will be removed by force, if necessary.

A makeshift jail has been made at the New Orleans bus station--the first inmate was an individual who drove up to get a bus ticket out of town in a car he had stolen.

Eko-wackos are on their ever vigilant nannyism--scientists are warning about the long-term damage to the ecosystem by pumping New Orleans flood waters back into Lake Ponchatrain (like, where do they want it pumped?)

And the pumping? Three pumping stations are online, of the city's 148 pumps, and each is moving 4,600 cubic feet per second. This is somewhat better than a portable pump the Army Corps of Engineers had been using, which moved 9 cubic feet per second.

Flood waters should be removed in 3 1/2 weeks from eastern New Orleans, and in 2 1/2 months from Chalmette.

The good news is that 182,000 people have been rescued.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning.

Just to make sure this is linked on today's thread, I will repeat this.

The Washington Post wrote an article earlier in the week that was unclear regarding a date. It stated the president pressed the Governor to sign paperwork to activate the military to secure the city on Friday.

What was not known, and reporters have not responded to my e-mails for clarification, was whether the Friday in question was the Friday before the storm or the Friday after the storm.

This Washington Times article makes it clear the Friday in question was BEFORE the storm.

So the Governor refused to sign paperwork to mobilize the National Guard or the military BEFORE the storm and at the direct request of the President of the United States.

As a result of her negligence, the city of New Orleans was unprotected from the rapists and murderers who preyed on the weak in the shelters. They also shot at FEMA and other rescue groups which delayed relief efforts.

Thanks, it's good to be back.

Did you have a dinner party to celebrate? I remember you saying you were meeting with your mom to plan it. (?)

LOL.

It was lowkey. We had brunch out and got to buy breakfast for two soldiers who grinned from ear to ear. That alone made our day.

Mr. Peach gave me 25 red roses. And we went to dinner at an outdoor sort of European flavor cafe and had terrific food and a glass of wine. The weather reminded us so much of the cooler, beautiful weather we were blessed with on our wedding day.

My parents are giving us a party for the family on Saturday night. She has had us go through photo albums and have enlarged pictures of both of us when we were infants, 6-8 years old, high school and college graduations, and then on our wedding day.

She's more excited about the party than I've seen her in a long time; it's so cute.

Good morning, kassie.

Welcome home.

Well, when I posted all is well, here, Molly....that WAS the truth, but this morning, I feel lousy-ish....chills..then hot....then chills mixed in with a touch of an upset stomach. Something I never have.

I'm sure it won't be long lasting, tho.

OMG!

FNC just played a clip of Blanco saying that federal troops do not have the authority for law enforcement. The left can't be happy with that admission which should surely take some of the heat off the administration!
