Dana Milbank wrote a snarkfest on the Heritage Foundation's John J. Tierney Jr. and his new book titled "The Politics of Peace: What's Behind the Anti-War Movement?" Click here to see that Ms.Verheyden-Hilliard of A.N.S.W.E.R. is also Ms.Verheyden-Hilliard of the National Lawyers Guild. In the article, Milbank reaches for the obligatory "McCarthy card" offered by a communist who Milbank fails to identify as a communist.
Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, an official with ANSWER, said: "Sounds like he's channeling Joe McCarthy, basically. That's a pretty heavy-duty résumé of redbaiting."

Give Milbank some credit. Dana did get an expert opinion on McCarthy from a professional Communist.

Could always be BOTH, y'know...
I vote Suck-up and fellow travelor.
Maybe just a suck up. Folks gasp at the McCarthy Card and treat the word Communism under the same auspices as Godwin's law as it is used with the name of Hitler.
In Mara's case, "red baiting" is probably some kind of sex act performed by lonely Communists Old Maids...
I hope it will do as a small introductory for some families who have no idea what we are facing. People have more resources this time around and don't have to depend on Walter Cronkite only.
So what did you expect from the MSM?
