I keep seeing acts of treason being reported in the news. The potential penalty seems to be a few years in prison. What happened to hanging treasonous pigs?
Without death for these actions, we are bound to lose our freedoms.
Unfortunately, we now have a government and system of laws that protects criminals. Forget the hangings even though they would be most welcome, and effective as a deterent.
Liberalization of our legal system has virtually destroyed it relative to any serious crime.
Hanging and or patiotism are not PC enough I guess.

I had an idea about how to respond to Jane's bus tour. We announce that activists (mainly, freepers) are prepared to ARREST HER FOR TREASON under the Citizen Arrest provisions available in our constitution.
I've heard that there's no statute of limitations on treason. We hand her over to the local authorities, and she becomes one charged with treason against the United States. I can't tell if this idea has already been floated -- I did searches for Jane Fonda, Treason, Citizen Arrest and found no references on Free Republic. I will post this on 2 or 3 Hanoi Jane threads.
