Special vocabulary:
Zot - when the moderators declare a troll has posted, and the game of pile up on the thread takes place. Frequently symbolized by a lightning strike or an atomic explosion.

vey series - inhouse joke for very serious. Can be shortened to just series.

Stuned - inhouse joke. Stunned, usually used in a humourous or sarcastic way, usually by a "beeber like device"

I used to live with a girl whose father owned a gay bar in San Fransicko in the early '70s. At that time there were more and more gays eachewing the drag queen act and putting pressure on other gays to act like men.
Fads come and go in the gay world with rapidity however and who knows what they're up to at any given moment.
Lisping and being generally swishy is just a put on that some queers do cause they want to advertise that they catch ... not pitch. They can turn it off and on like a switch.

gay men mainly lisp in films...personally I've never met one who lisped in real life...and as a doctor, I have gay patients, so I know many both in and out of the closet.
