See post #9. Most of these shows reflect the Cuban culture in Miami. FoodTV is very non-political. Even the biggest Left Wing wako on FoodTV- Mario Batali, has avoided political comments on their show..

One of the few things I miss after leaving S. Fla is the Cuban sandwich.
I was in the W Palm Bch area a few months ago and really had a hard time finding one.
Mexican food everywhere and only a few Cuban restaurants.
I did find the sandwich and a bowl of black beans, was wonderful. My wife loved them also.
