Time for the old "this is sick" vs. the "why did this never happen to me" argument - followed up by someone saying, what if this was two male teachers and a girl? And people then responding with "it's different". Bwhahah! Admit it. You come to these posts often don't you?

Yes, there are some good teachers, but mostly teaching attracts losers who don't want to do physical labor and aren't bright enough to get a college degree in a real subject. Teaching is a real subject. Yes, I don't think that they may go through the rigors of some college degrees (e.g. computer science), but many are nonetheless valid. One can lose everything though if the student teaching professor or educator fails you. I've seen a great many teachers go on to get other degrees and go into business or other fields. The most common "other" field I see though (about 1/3 of those who leave teaching) is to be a stay-at-home mom. In fact, many teachers at my school went into teaching only after they had stayed at home and raised their kids.
Many teachers care and do real jobs. There are indeed some dumbkins. I know a few of them. But, I know of many who do second or third jobs in things like running their own business, teaching swimming lessons, construction, computers, real estate, as store managers, and so on.

Time for the old "this is sick" vs. ... How about the old "This thread is worthless without pictures."?
There, I said it.

With too many, saying a test "is not reliable" really means "it doesn't give me the numbers I want"I still remember a prof who said the real advantage of essay tests, is "it gives you a chance to take revenge".

Yeah, a real teenage boy's dream - unless one (or both!) of the sicko teachers winds up p.g. Then it turns into a nightmare. There are always consequences for stupid behavior, whether it's 9 months down the road or 5 years.
Hmmm, hope none of these two fine teachers gave the kid genital warts!

With too many, saying a test "is not reliable" really means "it doesn't give me the numbers I want" Multiple-choice tests are not subject to the discretion of the test marker. Either the correct circle was filled in, or it was not. They are graded by machine, without bias. An essay grader, in contrast, can feel free to add points for correct ebonic delivery. I agree with what you say. It's some in the public who feel that mc tests are not valid and essays are. Essays can get pretty subjective. I know that by experience.

Good point.
If I am completely honest I will admit that there was a teacher I would have liked to have sex with when I was 16. Don't think I would have cared for a threesome tho.
Fortunately those teachers and other adults had enough common sense to know that would have been a bad thing.

As do the great majority of teachers. There are some who don't. We had a substitute teacher ask eighth graders where she could get drugs. They turned her in.

The thing that I can't figure out is why, in this day and age, two women who want to have sex with EACH OTHER feel they need a beard to do it?
The human ego is amazing.

Actually, I love good sarcastic lines. In fact, I love trading one-liners with people sometimes. It lightens things up. I can go on and on with sarcasm, but I've toned it down as I find that some made people even madder (e.g. when I get flipped off, instead of flipping them off or getting mad, I laugh at the person). I reserve it now for the evolutionists.

Despite being a teacher, I can laugh at things too, especially at myself. Having taught first grade for a number of years, though, my humor has relegated to that level. One of the parents said, "Never go into administration. You're too much like a big first grader." It's pretty funny with some of the things kids say or that happen.

Hell, I never even had one teacher I'd want to hook-up with, let alone two. There was one social studies teacher in my Jr. High, but I was never in her class.
Therefore, based on the fact I wouldn't have wanted to sleep with any teacher I had, I think it would have been abuse.

Anyone who is even remotely honest about it - except for the most genuinely ignorant - has to admit that it is not the same thing for older women to take advantage of minor boys as it is for older men who take advantage of minor girls (or boys, for that matter).

It's a fair sentiment, but I don't think there is much innocence there at 16 - guys at that age are basically a raging hormone with legs.

My kids go to private school. The education is top notch. The teachers make less than what a starting public school teacher would make.
