I think the borders are an issue also...and not a new one. What have the Dems done to secure our borders? I'd personally like to see more done myself, however, the border issue is going to require some major cooperative energy in Congress. Cooperate? Hmmmm,,,not a major buzzword among the "NO" Dems in Congress.

I agree. Bush does need to do something, but I don't think doing something rash is solution. I don't mind having a wall on the border. I feel somewhat queasy having our troops taking over law enforcement positions.

In case you didn't know, the Congress (House and Senate) is MADE UP OF BOTH REPUBS AND DEMS!!! They BOTH are responsible for what does or does not happen in this country. So go bang on them too -- but we all need to bang real hard ON BOTH OF THEM because they are not doing their job --- IF THEY WERE, THEY WOULD BE ALL OVER BUSH LIKE SWEET SMELL ON BLOSSOMS....so to speak.
The Washington government as a whole, is betraying the people of this country. And that does include Bush and his scrambled priorities in his responsibility to the borders, culture, laws and soverignty of this country.
