Terri Shiavo's Autopsy May Not Tell The Whole Story.
e-mail

Posted on 03/31/2005 9:31:45 AM PST by ArmyBratproud

Got the following in an e-mail. The writer makes a wise point-

With the sad death of Terri Shiavo, the pundits have now taken to the airwaves and claimed that an autopsy will likely show that she would have never recovered.

Given the fact that Terri Shiavo's case is well over a decade old, the pundits may be pushing a false theory.

No matter what side you are on when it comes to the poor lady's case, there is something that all should realize. That being an autopsy will show her condition of recent and only what has become of her due to the actions that were taken. That goes for her brain condition as well.

There will be statements that an autopsy may show that the cortex around her brain may have dissolved and that she would not have recovered. But, again, that can only be said as an evaluation of her health in relation to the actions that were taken.

It can not be compared to what state her brain matter would have been in back shortly after her life was put in danger. There have been reports that there were times when therapy was denied. So there are questions that must be considered when the issue of an autopsy is reported.

The most important of those questions, as far as the state of her brain is concerned, would be if any therapy would have helped her earlier. The idea of whether actions taken several years in the past would have provided a different course must be looked at.

George Felos and the euthanasia activists will no doubt tout an autopsy report that may show a dissolved cortex. But any such autopsy, in reality, does not in any way support their positions.

An autopsy brought would seem to only be an evaluation of what the health of Terri Shiavo has come to. It won't show what her condition could have been, had she been allowed a continual regime of therapy and other medical treatments.

Judges, lawyers, activists, and pundits should keep that in mind.

The writer of the e-mail makes a really good point.

An autopsy now would not show the whole history of Terri Shiavo's condition. And would only show what would happen with her...due to the actions taken.

It would not show what would have become of her had she been given therapy and other things over the course of close to 15 years.

In that corrupt county, will they get a real autopsy?

Was listening to Dr. Baden (forensic pathologist) on FNS a little while ago.

He said that an autopsy WOULD show what caused Terri's initial brain injury - if it was trauma caused by abuse it will show it, much as a cut on the hand will result in a scar.

He said that broken bones will show up, that attempted strangulation would show up etc.

The complete autopsy, including reading of all the slides etc may take up to several weeks.

Let us pray that it shows enough for Michael to be investigated for the abuse that caused her condition in the first place.

Also, In the wake of this tragedy, I had a thought. I wonder if the insurance companies can say that judicial ordered death is not natural causes and refuse to pay on Michael's life insurance policies on Terri. That would be poetic justice for him to be denied the monetary profits from her death.

I don't think MS was there at the end. but if you are suggesting he killed her, he didn't have to, she was dying.

The body isn't even cold yet and you are already starting a conspiracy theory? Priceless.

Remember when the Gore camp asked for all the recounts, wanting to recount till they go their way?

Parallels.

An autopsy may be minimal or it may be exhaustive. They may open the cranial cavity and the body cavities. They don't need to examine every bone, or any bone.

May his "Maker" guide the hands and minds of His people. Today is truely a day cloaked in infamey. Today a handicaped woman was murdered in a tortuous manner an animal in the US would not suffer unchallanged. Surely there will be a charge of Capitol MURDER in this case. IMHO this MURDER started 15 years ago over an exspensive beauty treatment. Was continued in a strange manner involving many broken bones, and later over attempts to give large injections of insulen.

It is now not "attempted MURDER" but it has been accomplised. It is not a Civil case over her care. It should now be in Criminal court and not in the court of injustice run by Grudge Greer... If there is not a trial and the truth come out... then Terri has truely died in vain. God bless Terri.

A hollow kind of victory (Michael Schiavo)

What kind of victory is it to keep the loving parents of a dying woman from her deathbed?

What brand of warped joy could possibly come from that?

What comfort, no matter how bitter the feud, could ever come from seeing the tears of parents?

What confidence can be taken in knowing in the heart that the death culture, as promoted by a lawyer who hears voices in his head, now takes a giant step forward?

What ease can we find in judges with more power than Congress?

What good can possibly come from a society that withholds from a brain-damaged woman food and water?

It was 9:03 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2005 when Terry Schindler Schiavo slipped away–just two days after attorney George Felos told the world her death did not appear imminent to him.

In the end, it took 13 days for Terri to die.

According to Fr. Frank Pavone, approximately 10 minutes before Terri’s death, husband Michael Schiavo ordered her brother and sister out of her room.

Blood relatives were permitted back into the room just minutes after Terri’s death.

"Where is Michael?" was Fr. Pavone’s first question. Michael, who used a side door into the hospice the last two weeks, was nowhere in sight. . . . .

(Excerpt) Read more at http://www.canadafreepress.com

Fox News is now reporting the 10 or 15 minute gap story, saying the brother and sister were very upset and did not want to leave, but were ordered out of the room. Schiavo piece of @#$*&( was in there ALONE with her when she died. Any questions?

The body isn't even cold yet and you are already starting a conspiracy theory? Priceless.

I can see already that the crazies are afraid of the truth coming out from an autopsy.

The tinfoil hat and pitchfork brigades are inventing a hundred conspiracies even as we speak to cover up the truth that Terri (RIP) had no brain at all probably.

Its easy to be a conspiracy nut, you never need the burden of proof, you never need to be right, you can just accuse and make up more conspiracy to bolster your case.

This place has gone nuts.

Wrong. Brain death from lack of oxygen is distinctive. I see you are lining up the falsehoods to keep the conspiracy going

anyone who doesn't suspicion, since there are so many personal connections between the Hospice and Felos,(who was reported to be on the board of the Hospice where Terri was warehoused.) Felos and the judge (who received 'campaign money from Felos one day, it is reported, after a favorable decision - and not during a campaign funding time), michael S being a nurse - and working for the P. police dept?!, the Management for the HOSPITAL that was notified by the state officials on the way to rescue Terri from the HOSPICE, to get ready to treat her- instead, called the JUDGE to give him enough time to issue the famous court order preventing it, - well, if you might not suspicion that this buddy spiderweb wont, in any way, reach and color the autopsy report???? I've got a bridge...
