If Terri does pass away, can Gov. Bush declare the Hospice a crime scene in order to prevent her body being cremated?

Can he stop the body from being cremated?

"Crime scene" means "scene of a crime." Since what's happening is legal, there is no crime and, therefore, no crime scene.

Probably not without evidence that some crime has actually occurred.

Maybe we should just appeal to the UN instead? Maybe they can send troops in to help us? Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket...

Sigh.

There is no crime, thus no crime scene.

I would say Hospice would be a crime seen no matter what "Borges" replied. A crime is being comitted and that is............murder. When you take it upon yourself to deny someone food and water and that person can breathe and wake up on their own you are clearly committing a crime. When that person dies as a result of that you have killed them. Case closed!

Really? Murder? Quick! Call the police and tell them a murder is occuring at the Hospice... then post back to us and let us know what they tell you...

To do so would be to indict himself for not having saved Terri when he had the chance.

The state has the duty to examine the body in the case of unusual circumstances.
