Israeli Juniors Win in Sofia Ice Hockey

Sports: 12 March 2005, Saturday.

Bulgarian juniors, aged under 18, suffered a dramatic loss from the Israeli team 1-16 in the World Ice Hockey Championship held in Sofia.

This is the fourth defeat of Bulgaria after being beaten successively by Australia, Belgium and division newcomers from Turkey.

On Sunday Bulgarian juniors face the team of New Zealand and they desperately need a victory to avoid dropping from the Third Division.

I swear I didn't know, there was any ice-hockey in Israel.

It seemed to me like those ski-bob riders from Jamaica.

But - I can see - I was wrong.

Wow! Where eexactly was the first picture taken?

Man I'm telling you I'm really surprised. I've never been to Israel, but my vision of that country is a sand, rocks, with a belt of green along Mediterranean coast.

And you're showig be snow. Great!
