Some interesting news on the Hollywild front.

The number of R-rated pictures produced has dropped significantly over the last five years. A total of 212 R-rated films were made in 1999, just 147 last year.

Indeed, PG films outgrossed R films last year for the first time since 1984. The biggest sector of the market right now is PG-13.

But, remember, it's not Hollywild that should get the credit, but us. We, the American people, are demanding, with our wallets, that better, more "family friendly" fare be produced.

lysie, I was showing Allie some pictures of the Mississippi Delta and the miles and miles of cotton crops and she asked me what that was. I told her it was grits growing and she said 'wow'.
