"USC was the best team in the country last year too."

Absolutely right. Actually, SC played a similar game last year in the Rose Bowl, dominating in a similar manner. Michigan was just better than Oklahoma, played better and more disciplined, and SC didn't get any breaks in that game, so the score was somewhat respectable. But it is a shame USC didn't get to play in last year's game, especially after the slopfest that one turned out to be. They would have routed LSU too.

An ass-kicking on both sides of the ball.

"Sorry, I guess I am clouded by your murderous alumni in the stands rooting for USC."

For what it's worth, in the eyes of the law, OJ is "not guilty." That doesn't mean he was innocent. History may judge him differently.

And the term is "alumnus" - in the singular.

That would be OSU, as in the Ohio State University

No moron. I meant what I said. That would be OU as in OKLAHOMA, the opponent of Univervisty of Southern California (USC) in the game.

Do I think any of our athletes commited a savage double murder? Ummmm, no.

And you think OJ Simpson represented USC in the alleged murder? You're a f_ _ _ _ _g idiot. And I could probably find a felon if I went back through the history of UO (that's Oklahoma, you idiot) athletics. But since you're so smart (didn't even know who was playing the game last night), I am sure you have a mental bank for these things.

The fact that you compare committing a "crime" (infraction, such as getting caught for underage drinking or some such) to a brutal double murder speaks volumes about you.

What the hell are you talking about? Where or who did I compare to who?

You are pathetic.

You're opinion of yourself is pretty low then.

Let's see...

We root for a PAC10 team in a NCAA National Championship game, and automatically we are lumped in as an accomplice to murder.

This place is really getting over the top.

"4 TD passes tonight...so who deserves the Heisman??" Make that FIVE! But, actually, I think it is clear that Leinart deserved the Heisman last year and Bush deserved it this year! I can't believe they placed Reggie Bush FIFTH and that sorry OU freshman came in second.

Don't forget -- both USC and Auburn played VT this year. USC won by a bigger margin. Granted, a team at the first game of the season is not the same team at the end of the season. Still, it is the one benchmark we have with which to compare the teams this season. USC comes out on top. Fight on!!!!!

"OU is pathetic. How were they able to fool so many?".....TWO YEARS IN A ROW!!!! This game not only shows that Auburn should have been in the Orange Bowl. It also shows that USC was the SOLE national champ last year. LSU was clearly a fluke and USC should have had the opportunity to SPANK them last year. How on earth did OU manage to weasel in the BCS championship game 2 years in a row?

"OOPS another interception--wasn't White up for the Heisman?" He WON the Heisman last year....and his equally inept teammate Peterson came in second place for the award this year -- while Reggie Bush placed last for the Heisman this year. It shoulda been Leinart last year and Bush this year.
