That's what I was thinking, if he thinks we are uncivil now wait till the Rats or RINOs do something that really pisses the forum off!
Maybe I'm wrong but I think what is frustrating him is that there are a lot of "Rat, Rhino" spewing robots who have little to offer in the way of deep thought or provocative conversation. A person can find out what FR is like pretty quickly these days IMO, they can just read this thread.

It's not the same as always. FreeRepublic has changed over the years. We were a bit more civil a few years ago. Equally intolerant (as we should be) but, more civil.
