Now everyone knows Malone stands accused by Vanessa (Bryant) of hitting on her at halftime of the Nov. 23 Bucks-Lakers game. (Kobe) threatened to take out Malone in three separate phone conversations, according to sources. "Who are you hunting?" asked Vanessa, a beautiful Latino. She then repeated it. Who could resist a smart aleck answer to such a leading question? "Little Mexican girls," Malone said, smiling devilishly.

Why on earth would she tell Kobe? Unless she feels too busy doing up the hired help to pay attention to her - then she might say a few things to try and make him "jealous".
I'd say somebody better check with Malone and make sure this Golddigger isn't just manufacturing a little attention from her skirt-chasin' hubby...

Sounds to me like Malone was guilty of a mild crudity, but things got out of hand shortly thereafter. What is it with Kobe and women anyway?
This makes no sense - unless Vanessa found out Kobe and Kaye were guilty of doing something, or maybe Vanessa was making a play for Karl and she turned it around to make it look like Karl was doing it.
She's young and insecure.
Was he named in that SI piece from a few years ago about that subject? I think he also came out in support of President Bush in the most recent election.
