Teshie?
His wife is certainly one of the more beautiful women to ever be on tv.

Will he play the piano at the conclusion of the Evening News?
[This sounds like someone is throwing names around to see if any stick with the focus groups. CBS needs to get someone fresh, not some common face. Next, we'll hear they are considering bringing Phil Donahue out of retirement----oh, wait, MSNBC already tried that lead balloon.]

Goen succeeds Tesh on ET
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "Entertainment Tonight" weekend anchor Bob Goen will slide into the co-anchor's chair to succeed John Tesh.
Goen, who has also served as a correspondent for the show, has been with "ET" since 1993. The show announced his new job Tuesday.
Tesh, who will devote his time to his music career, will appear on the show for the last time on May 30. "ET" didn't say when Goen will debut alongside Mary Hart.
Before joining "ET," Goen was host of the daytime version of "Wheel of Fortune" and other game shows.
Tesh, a pianist and composer, saw his 1995 release "Live at Red Rocks" reach No. 1 on Billboard magazine's New Age chart, selling more than 500,000 copies. He starts a national tour June 12 in Chicago.

Nah...John Tesh is a Christian who makes Christian worship albums with his wife (forget her name, TV personality)...no way they'd hire him.

Since Ronald McDonald is rumored to have turned down the job, Tesh would be perfect.

Actually, I'd watch John Tesh deliver the news. No question. But I don't believe this for a second.

To: MrArbitrage
Not that it matters much, but Tesh could compose a new theme for CBS news if he's hired.

That's where I'd put my money, were I a betting man.
But it would be a brilliant move.
