If any Freeper knows this, please let me know. My endless Internet searches have been fruitless!
Does anyone know the name of the Children's T.V. Host (and/or the name of the show) who got caught saying, "That ought to hold the little S.O.B.s" on live T.V. circa 1950?
Hoping for some old time T.V> trivia buffs here.......

Did't the Simpsons do a parody on "Gabo Gabo Gabo!!!"?

It might be an urban legend. I heard that story when I was a kid, but the way I heard it, it was "little b******s," not SOB's, and it was a kiddie radio show, not TV!

Yes, there have been several parodies of this quote in recent years.

I know the "bastards" line was false. But I have heard that the SOBs quote is/was authentic. My grandfather saw it live and spoke to me of it when I was younger. He would not have been prone to urban legends of such sort - trust me.
