Yes, it looks like AU might be heading to a championship but ya never know, their rivalry with Alabama is so strong that anything can happen. Ask Quilla, she is a lifelong Bama fn even though her father was a Dean at Auburn.

One of my Dad's best friends used to be President of Ohio State.
He had to fire Woody Hayes........kind of similar to if you had to fire Bear Bryant.
I think you're right........on paper, Auburn is a much better team this year, much like Michigan is v Ohio State.....but in these games anything can happen.

Good morning! Darlin' you are right, the rivalry is so intense, one never knows who'll win the Auburn-Alabama game. Pulling for Alabama while attending Auburn was a scandalous affair. However, that was in the days of Bear Bryant. I remember a sign I saw at one Alabama-Notre Dame game. It read - Notre Dame's got the Pope but Bama's got the Bear - the man is still revered in this neck of the woods.
My support for Alabama has come back to haunt me though - both my teenagers are Auburn fans! Roll tide!
