Dear Friends,

If there was one group who really came through on Tuesday, it was the young people of America. Their turnout was historic and record-setting. And few in the media are willing to report this fact.

I proudly used my first vote in a presidential election to re-elect Pres. Bush. Once my generation gets older and wiser, we'll be voting Republican more and more.

Moore is in denial. They came out at about the same rate they have always turned out. So all of the Rock the Vote nonsense, all of the celebrities, the Eminem video and especially all of Moore's nonsense amounted to squat.

And being true Dems, they will never admit that to themselves.

Who cares what he said, says or thinks. He's irrelevant, just like the rest of the hollywood left. Posting his crap here is a waste of bandwidth, IMHO.

I will not give him a hit.

Besides, last time I went to that outhouse, my computer was clogged for days, with what can only be described as internet excrement.

Chip... Pepsi... No Coke!

Considering that 1 in 10 of those who were registered through GOTV actually cast ballots. Most of them for President Bush.

I think Mike's math's a bit flakey!

Jack.

Michael as well as the hacks like Tom Freston that run MTV are middle aged millionaires. It's hilarious that they create the P.R. that they somehow speak for 'the youth.' P. Diddy seems like a useful idiot who speaks for the middle aged MTV corporate offices.

Michael is doing a miraculous job of cashing in on young people. He is an ideal spokesman for capitalism and how to make a buck from his disingenuous pseudo documentaries and books.

I read on DU that the lack of youth voter turnout is a Republican lie. DENIAL!

MOORE: GOD HELP AMERICA - THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN..

Notice Moore printed that anti-American rant in the UK.

He has little credibility on our shores, but he is bullying his way to influence internationally, where people don't have access to the other side of the story. His Fahrenheit 9/11 is distributed worldwide, with translations in every major language, while the rebuttals are mainly available in the U.S., in English.

Moore is going to continue his traitorous propagandizing outside our borders. In that way, I'm afraid he is accomplishing his agenda.

Correction: though the article I link to above read like something from Michael Moore, it appeared in the UK Mirror without attribution.

Strange... I could almost hear him saying those words as I read them.

Don't be fooled, the "younger generation" is sick and tired of being patronized and taken for granted. This is not the 1960s, the COUNTERCULTURE movement is actually CONSERVATIVES in our generation (I'm 23). Its amazing to watch on a grass roots level. You know that the College Republicans have hundreds more chapters than the College Democrats?

Young people hate the establishment, they hate things shoved down thier throat, and LIBERALISM is shoved down thier throats, LIBERALISM is the establishment, and while the overall demographic still trends democrat, it does so MUCH less, and is going further and further right.

So, while Mikie thinks "they're alright" (obviously that they came out, and voted for Kerry) - he's dead wrong... the younger generation won't be taken granted for anymore, and you'll see that trend continue as the elections continue to go by.

Matt
