How about another guy name Bush? Either Marvin, Neil, or Jeb, it doesn't matter. It seems Bush is a really good trademark among Republicans.

I love Rudy, but I don't think he would be conservative enough for the Republican base. Maybe....

What about Bill Frist? I like him. I also like Mitt Romney, but, again, may not be conservative enough.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking that question this morning. After the little sleep I had last night, I'm surprised I'm thinking at all.

I need coffee.

Make that espresso.

Mitt Romney

This guy might be OK but right now Rudy would be my choice. Not conservative enough for some maybe but a great leader. Just think about having to make a choice between Rudy and McPain and you will start learning to love the ex-Mayor of NYC.

Let's hope NOT. We need some fresh blood. More Bush's starts to make the US look like a monarchy.

Hillary's not going to run to keep her Senate seat in '06. She'll be running for President in '08.

It would require a change to the Constitution for Arnold to run for President.

We don't need another Bush on the ticket in '08. America would never elect 'em.

Personally, I'd like to see Condi Rice run against Hillary in '08.

I will take the time to say that I owe Karl Rove an apology. Here on FR, I doubted and questioned his political skill fearing not enough was done to guard against fraud and the vile media campaign.

Yes, this was a close election in electoral terms but Bush/Cheney 2004 won a GREAT victory. Hat's off to Karl, Karen and all the rest. I like to think our prayers helped as well.

I'll definitely be looking forward to analyses of the successful strategy.
