Rocky Top

First Verse
Wish that I was on ol' Rocky Top,
down in the Tennessee hills;
Ain't no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top;
Ain't no telephone bills;
Once I had a girl on Rocky Top;
Half bear, other half cat;
Wild as a mink, but sweet as soda pop,
I still dream about that;

Chorus
Rocky Top, you'll always be
home sweet home to me;
Good ol' Rocky Top;
Rocky Top, Tennessee;
Rocky Top, Tennessee.

Second Verse
Once two strangers climbed ol' Rocky Top,
lookin' for a moonshine still;
Strangers ain't come down from Rocky Top;
Reckon they never will;
Corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top;
Dirt's too rocky by far;
That's why all the folks on Rocky Top
get their corn from a jar;

Chorus
Rocky Top, you'll always be
home sweet home to me;
Good ol' Rocky Top;
Rocky Top, Tennessee;
Rocky Top, Tennessee.

Third Verse
I've had years of cramped-up city life
Trapped like a duck in a pen;
All I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again.

by Boudleaux and Felice Bryant
Rocky Top was officially adopted as Tennesse's song
by Chapter 545 of the Public Acts 1982

Gators, FSU and Canes won today.
All the rest is filler. You're looking at #1, #2 and #3 in the end. :o)

Nah, I'm still basking in the glory of the last game.

Really, though, Gators are good people. Heck, I've got one for a neighbor! :)

Now Bulldogs, on the other hand... *evil grin*

That bad, huh. :(

I've got a cousin like that. I love him to death, but when he gets started talking about Republicans wanting to steal everything and give it to big business, I just have to smile and nod and let him run down.

Yep, the BS tax break line is the big one.
I look at it like this (if I understand it correctly):
1% of $1,000 is 10
1% of $1,000,000 is 10,000.

So of course those who make more get a larger break, but they also pay more. It is the % we go by (Democracy) not the dollar amount (Socialism). Pinging Willie Green to correct me if I am wrong. at least, in simple terms, I think this is something DUmmies could grasp.

How's the game? I am watching Storm Stories.

Bleh, UT went 3 and out on first posession, then almost had a punt blocked, and Auburn got a TD at the 9 min mark. :P

"Carp! You like the Vols AND the Cubs? Dude!"

Let me tell you about carp! I once knew a real live VANDY fan! :D

Scary to think about what it would be like if we had Gore now, or if we get Kerry and go thru another 9-11.

United States will come under control of a global power (UN)

LOL, please no AU/Bama jokes. I surrender.

My grandpa played for Auburn back in 29 and 30. Back then it was Called "Alabama Polytechnical Institute".

BTW...Auburn has had some lean years. So we basically have tough hides by now (those fans that are left).

Be good now...and good luck with Georgia. You'll need it, they looked tough today.

WAR EAGLE: 38-28 in the SEC Champtionship Game

Also Auburn took a knee around the 5 or 10 yard line of Tennessee at the end of the game instead of attempting to run the score up.

The BCS is gonna poop on Auburn and not give them a title game in the Orange Bowl. #1USC squeaks by unranked Cal and OU kills unranked Colorado, while Auburn wins impressively against another top 20 team. If it wasn't for a few blunders with AU's punter the game would of been a blowout of worse proportions.

Retarded penalties by our side just killed us dead. :P

I think we'll be contenders in 2005, though.

Congrats to Auburn, now go make us look good. :)
