Amen, Quix. This is an important thread, no matter what your individual beliefs are. All freepers should act to protect this thread from trolls, especially. I too, believe this month is going to be a pivotal one in the history and future course of our nation. There is certainly a convergence of prophetic, political and terrorist activity and we seem to be on a collision course with destiny. So it is written, so it shall be done.
Do you remember the swarm of sharks off the Florida coast prior to 9-11 and the last election? Now there is a great white cruising the waters of Mass.Signs and wonders.
Predicting that "September will be a month of storms" is like predicting that "January will be a month of snow". The peak of Hurricane Season is late August through September.
Predicting "an increase in terror" prior to the U.S. Presidential election is likewise a common sense matter.
Dreams are a window to your state of mind. The more that people talk about the obvious fact that terrorists will go into their "late in the fourth quarter offense", the more they will worry about it. The more they worry about it, the more they will dream about it.
The terrorists want us to worry about it, dream about it and talk about it. The terrorists also want us to get others to talk about it, worry about it and dream about it.
I don't dream about it.
When I'm awake, I try to firm up the resolve of the American Home Front so that, as in World War II, the enemy is soundly defeated.
Then you no longer have to worry or dream about it.
It is important to note that Alqaida members believe they communicate with each other through dreams and that what they dream in unison is the future. It is a very major part of their belief system and has nothing to do with their avowed public belief system. They are wrong in this belief in the efficacy of dreams. Dreams are null and void as they deny the subjective and objectified moral will.
Dear Quix- I reported the one that I had about being on the bridge when the stars started to fall and turned into missile strikes. I have not had a similar dream since, but I feel very strongly that we are facing something between October 6 and October 12th...

I have not had that dream, but it's not an unreasonable thought in this world, today.

My daughter has all the 'weird dreams' in this family - nothing new to report.
And I experienced a very grim vision of people who are headed for hell, where the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart the need to pray for people so they would repent of evil-doing and come to the Lord.
Take it for what you will. I never have visions like that, but when this one came upon me, it came all of a sudden and it was very dark and grim -- I knew instantly, knowing in my spirit, knowing without having to hear the words -- that I was to pray for people so that they would repent of actions that grieve the Lord and come to Him in repentance, that God doesn't want anyone to perish in Hell, and it was impressed upon my heart to pray over this matter.
Don't mean to sound like I'm on a soapbox. This happened to me, and I'm passing it on. I don't want to offend anyone or twist their arms if they don't want to hear about religion. But his happened to me, and here it is.
I keep having the same dreams, but they are not fit for a family forum like FR. ;-)
I was just alerted to this thread.
I had basically the same dream in September.
I was in the city, I was slightly NW of Times Square, walking ona side street, I felt a sudden whoosh of air and debris come up behind me, then i fell forward, at the same time everything felt electrified, the air smelled metallic, my eyes were burning and my hair smelled funny.
Felt this enormous dread and felt very overheated inside.
I got up and started running towards the NY waterway ferry even though I knew it was a good 15 blocks away.
I looked at people around me and some were running, some looked to be in pain/shock, while some looked totally unaffected.
In my brain I kept seeing numbers running thru my head, I told myself it was October and was tryingto remember if it was the 19th 20th or 21st.
I know just the freeper to call in case of a troll invasion of this thread :o)
I didn'r have a dream or a vision but a feeling of something about to happen.
I feel uneasy and have a sense of iminent violence, I'm not sure what it means but I pray urgently for both this country and for President Bush.
I had a dream last night that a nuclear bomb went off in the Hollywood area, one was going to go off in New York and a third in Los Angeles again. It was terrifying. However, I only dreampt this because I read this thread before going to bed. Thank God I don't have prophetic dreams! All I can say is scary, scary, scary. I was relieved when I woke up.
God speaks to us through the Bible, not DREAMS.
BTW, the Virgin of Medjugorie has been revealing "ten secrets" to the young visionaries for years now. I believe some of these "secrets" are actually forms of chastisement for the world for it's sins. Because so many believers responded to her "messages" by fasting and prayer, she said that God had reduced the severity of some of the chastisments, and I think one or two were completely revoked. So, it goes to show the power of payer and fasting (and the rosary).
Dreamed about a huge tornado, felt like a figurative dream.
Especially since the tornado had a spiral split in it.
Don't know what happens next, in the dream things were being flattened, and my attention was focused on the storm itself, the tornado, and the awesome terribleness of the storm.
Had this dream about five days ago.
Probably nothing more than an odd dream, considering I ended up walking up a set of stairs that were cut in half and leaning forward, or it could be premonition.
I don't know.
It likely isn't for me to know.
I would be more worried if most FReepers did NOT have these kinds of nightmares; that's what the lamestream media is serving up every night. I usually don't; then again, I don't watch television, so those graphic images don't get into my mind.

1) The following is not a dream but is a phrase from a wise old timer I greatly respect and revere for their contributions to the Republic and to FR. My sense, impression is that the man or woman involved is saying that the dream is congruent with some other things they know from their normal network of living:

My personal dream was I was driving [north] towards downtown with my [associate]. It was light out, but it got 'real' bright. Didn't pay much attention at first for it looked like the sun just got bright from behind clouds. But then it got VERY bright, I looked at [associate], he at me, we knew what it meant, I put his head down and turned the car around fast as I could in opposite direction then woke up

Yes brother, I have. One very vivid...and yet it was so scary, it was forgotten temporarily...about 3 weeks ago...
I was hostage in a house w sleeping bags on floor...new people were brought in..it was in america....in the country kind of...and not all were searched well...one had a rifle in a sleeping bag and when I went to use it with only a split second of time to get the guard...THE THING DID NOT WORK. I woke up...in a sweat.

5) I haven't had a particular dream about an October surprise. But knowing how you enjoy such things, I thought I'd tell you about one I did have in my earlier years...
The Dream:
I was outside with group of folks, marvling at a strange cloud formation against an otherwise, star-filled night sky. As we watched, the cloud grew larger, and closer to us, almost as if we could reach out and touch it.
Then, out of the center of the cloud, something appeared. It was a man on a glorious white horse. And the people just stood there, mezmerized at what they saw. He appeared to have a very peaceful face and looked familiar to me. The people around me began to drop to their knees and shout, 'Christ has returned! God has sent His Son back!'
But I was the only one left standing. And as the man on the white house got closer, he looked at the people on their knees and smiled, and then turned to me. The expression on his face turned to anger and the look on my face turned to shock, as I saw this man's eyes turn blood red, his face turn the color of fire, and the number 666 appeared on his forehead.
I woke up immediately. I've told very few people about this dream, but it has always been very clear to me what it means. I just wonder why I am the one who had the dream.
6) I don't know exctly why, but I "see" a date in my [sensing]: Thanksgiving. And I don't "see" his limo, but a madman shooting. Did you "see" the same?
