It seems to be one hell of a coincidence that a human using a manual typewriter would center the second and third line exactly like MSWord does. Pretty fly for a dead guy! Monitor, please let this go!

Some of them are saying that it's a fake, but a fake planted by Karl Rove. That's their explanation. LOL

A lot of Dems are accepting its a forgery. They are now saying that Karl Rove is the forger, and that it is a dirty trick to make Kerry look bad.

Everything is Karl Rove or Bush's fault! Please, this is a dirty trick by the rats! At least the DU dummyrats know it is a forgery! Gotta give them credit for that.

Trying to center things perfectly with a typewriter was a bitch and isn't even possible if one line has an even number of words and spaces and the other has an odd. Only in the world of word processing.

Yep, they didn't touch it for a long time. Then they made fun of us in a couple of threads. Then the story started getting legs but they ignored it a little more. Now the realization is dawning and its time for conspiracy theory number 3,145 in order to explain the situation.
Whats really funny is that they are hyped up expecting the American public to accept conspiracy number 3,145 without question and think this will actually help them.

The really story here isn't the memos themselves, no one was going to believe that crap anyway.
The real story is going to be about the power of the internet to bring Rather down a notch or two. That story has yet to be told, but I'm betting on the internet.

Doesn't matter who faked it. It proves that the Media is in the bag for Kerry. Now all America will know it and not believe any crap that comes out about GWB. Rove Rules!!

So, Rove plants documents that could hurt Bush? These guys are really desperate. If I were them, I would start reevaluating what my sense of reality. When you have staked your reputation on a belief, it is hard to shake that belief. Pride just won't allow it, even if it means you look like an idiot.
If I were the DU crowd or any other dem for that matter, I would not only give up on Kerry, I would make sure he does not get in. If their side resorts to stunts like this, it could destroy their party for good. Remember the Bull Moose party?
If they had any brains, or cared at all about the future of their party, they would just start working on whoever they want in 08 tomorrow and work to make sure Kerry doesn't destroy the little credibility they may have left.
Message to DU Think of how long the Nixon stigma hung over the Republicans. In this modern communication age, how long will the Kerry stigma hold down the dems? Just think about it.

Rove doesn't have to do anything to make Kerry look bad.
He is a mess all on his own.
They can't fight fair, they can't run an honest election, they can't take a punch. As a result they go overboard and their excesses lead to their down fall.
P.T Barnum said it best...Never give a sucker an even break and you can't cheat an honest man.
They are not honest dealers therefore they are always taken in a swindle.

Haven't followed this story much. If this address was preprinted (like stationary) then the lines would be centered? Is this snip from stationary?
(Sorry if this is a stupid question!)

Yes. Some coincidence, huh?

It had to be pre-printed by somebody in the first place, even if it did become standard letter-head.

It had to be pre-printed by somebody in the first place, even if it did become standard letter-head. John Kerry decided it was pre-printed before he decided it wasn't pre-printed.
