If and when Bush is re-elected, I will greatly enjoy watching the idiot lefties in Hollywood wallowing in their bath of Bush-hatred yet again in the Spring when Oscar time rolls around. So much distilled loser angst in one room should make for a great scene.

Now we just have to make sure Bush is re-elected. If you needed any further motivation, imagine the scene as Moore's Oscar is the capping glory in the successful attempt to unseat the President and punt on the War on Terror. That ought to get ya' to the polls!

I predict that Moore will bypass the DVD market and release a cleaned up version of Farenheit 911 to TV, most likely cable and satelite alternative stations (like ITV, FSTV, LINK) to air for free about a month prior to the election.

Doesn't that violate campaign finance laws??

You don't expect the left to be bound by RULES, don't you? Even their own rules?
Well said.

The Academy has also censored criticism of this film by other filmmakers:

Academy drafts new dirty tricks rules (No negative campaigning in Oscar race)

Plans seem to be for Sony to release this film to DVD (Moore is hoping by October so it can be seen by election day).

If it is released to video, it can be shown in schools (college at least, if not some high schools in spite of the R rating).

Media Bias has no limits from CFR, YOU are just barred from buying the airtime to counter Mr. Moore's film (which presumably would be paid TO Mr. Moore FROM the station, not the other way around).

Exactly, the first statement that I saw from the film owners that they opposed the Cuban broadcast came today. The MPAA should have already issued a statement that this piracy will not be tolerated (although it is because the director seems to have sanctioned it as you mentioned in that interview).

I have no doubt they would do that

I also have a feeling it may back fire on the teachers and schools

Hey Howlin .. I heard on Shep's show tonight that Moore's movie will be on the ballot because the one showed in Cuba was a bootleg copy

Cuban 'Fahrenheit' Telecast Raises Oscar Questions

However, an unauthorized or pirated display of a film would not render the movie ineligible, academy spokesman John Pavlik said on Tuesday.

"If somebody steals your movie and puts it on TV, we're not going to penalize you for it," he told Reuters.
