You sound as though you don't believe him.

This is a problem that demands steady, sure-footed, rational handling. We absolutely cannot let our fury get the best of us. We will blow it once again if we do. The dems appear to be in full out panic mode.... they're floating one trial balloon after another. First, they said Berger didn't put any "documents" in his socks, then they said he only removed "copies" of documents and then they questioned the "timing" of the "leak". Next, McAuliffe demands, hehehe, thats right, he demands all information concerning the investigation be turned over to the DNC. Lastly, they've fallen back to a tried and true claim, i.e., much ado about nothing ginned up by VRWC fanatics and tabloid-style, gossip monger Drudge. We must not take their bait.

Yes, its probably true that Berger didn't put an actual "document" in his socks, he'd have to have some mighty big socks to pull that off. He did, apparently, put his handwritten notes about specific docs in his socks. Removing your personal, handwritten notes about "classified" documents is just as illegal as taking the documents. Berger knew that or else he would not have "hidden" them in his socks. The same applies to the pathetic claim by Dee Dee Meyers and pals that Berger only removed "copies" of documents. Thats bogus, it doesn't matter what the form, he took "classified" informarion from a "secure room". Now Clinton and the spin teams are questining the "timing". Someone needs to ask exactly when would be a good time to bring a crime to the public's attention. Thats just another red herring, it ain't the timing, its the crime.
