Because his evil master, Darth Clinton, taught him well.
....or would that be, "Darth Bubba?"
Beautiful country there, Libby.
He'll get his comeuppance...if not in this life, then in the next, but it would be sweet to see him have to pay for his crimes against the people of this country in our lifetime.
You're right, of course, catpuppy, but the problem is that until there is decisive action taken to prevent voter fraud, we can't even really trust that those running the show ARE the ones who are duly elected.
Oxymoron.
Good map exercise:

Yes, its probably true that Berger didn't put an actual "document" in his socks, he'd have to have some mighty big socks to pull that off. He did, apparently, put his handwritten notes about specific docs in his socks. Removing your personal, handwritten notes about "classified" documents is just as illegal as taking the documents. Berger knew that or else he would not have "hidden" them in his socks. The same applies to the pathetic claim by Dee Dee Meyers and pals that Berger only removed "copies" of documents. Thats bogus, it doesn't matter what the form, he took "classified" informarion from a "secure room". Now Clinton and the spin teams are questining the "timing". Someone needs to ask exactly when would be a good time to bring a crime to the public's attention. Thats just another red herring, it ain't the timing, its the crime.
There was someone on Fox and Friends this morning that said that making notes and taking the notes was legal, just certain information couldn't be contained in those notes. I forget who it was.

I agree with you both. :) The single most memorable phrase Lamar Alexander ever said in all his campaigns was about Congress, he said, "We need to cut their pay and send them home".
Unfortunately, even the most well-intentioned of men lose their moral compass when they become immersed in the rarified air of power of congress. They become addicted to getting reelected and learn all too soon that non-partisan is a term that only applies to the wall they hit when they dare to buck the good old boy network.
Ya Think .. :0)
However, I do like the idea from the Terry Thread that we should mail our old socks to the DNC *L*
I don't believe that. Consider the source. CBS would say anything, quote any flunkie, repeat every morsel of spin to protect the dems and destroy the President.
There are special cases where yes, notes can be taken out of the room
But with Highly Classified documents it's a No No
PLUS .. those cases where you can .. they have to be looked over by the Officials to make sure important information is not in them
Heck .. Folks who once worked at the WH and Other Departments who write books have to have them cleared before they can be published
Yes !!! I saw that earlier, thought it was the funniest idea yet. I just stuck a post it note to the door, "get extra socks".
DANG .. I missed all the fun on the Senate Floor
Seems it's rip into Wilson day *L*

It's still an on going investigation .. how does he know?

No one on that thread has been able to confirm that story. I've looked at several of the major news sites - nothing. Perhaps the poster misheard. Shower time...
Hummmm. As I understand it, notes may be made while they're reviewing material. However, since those notes pertain to classifed data they may not be removed when the person leaves the facility. For instance, reports say Berger made 5 trips to the NA over a 3 day period. Presumably, spending a number of hours in reviewing and taking notes. At least he left, perhaps for lunch. Anyhow, he was required to leave his working notes in the secure room when he broke for lunch. As far as I know, there is not a provision that permits limited or sketchy notes to leave the premises.... Who would determine what was permissable and how would they know the notes did not contain some sophisticated coding method.
