Posting and HTML

Hi Folks. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to use HTML to post pictures and quotes from other sites? I have been trying to post some of the articles from FR to FreeDominion ( Canada's sister site) but am having no luck. Also, I would like to post some stuff on FR from FD, and from some of the Canadian newspapers. Any sites you can suggest that could help me learn? Many thanks to my fellow Conservatives.

I have a question too. I have a photo of myself posted on the web at ZippyImages.com. OK--- I posted the photo on my homepage here at FR. When I go to my homepage to see if it's there, I only see a little square with a red "X" inside.... BUT, if I go to the ZippyImage site and look at the photo in a new window, the photo then ALSO simultaneously appears on my FR homepage. However, as soon as I close the IE window from ZippyImages.com, the photo also disappears from my homepage.

Could one of you please explain this and tell me if there's something I can do to remedy it?"

I am viewing this thread on a laptop using a 14.4 kbps wireless dial up connection in the woods of Rhode Island (Not too addicted, huh?) so I cannot go into an answer right now. When I get back on a broadband connection, I'll check in later to see if anyone has given you an answer.

I decided to scrap ZippyImages and switch to ImageShack.us. I created a new image link to ImageShack on my Freeper homepage, and so far whenever I check, my photo DOES show up. So maybe ZippyImages was just too flakey. Wow, in the woods with a laptop--- I wonder if that's how Walden did it. Ya' think? : )

Your image host probably doesn't allow linking. You need to find one that does.
