If you really had any respect for Jesus Christ you wouldn't be so indulgent in the hubris of believing you are part of the last generation of humans to walk the earth. Jesus was a humble man... hubris is very far from his path. However, you have brought wonderful humor to me this afternoon, so perhaps that will mitigate some of the sin of pride.

If that doesn't help, though, one can always hope for divinealien intervention.

Of course, the psychology of desperately wanting to believe that there's something better than humanity just beyond your grasp might be a little too obvious for investigation! Not when there's a figment in a photograph to place one's faith in, anyway...

When constructing a hypothesis for experimental verification or disconfirmation, one needs to design and consider statistically the hazards on both sides if one wishes to really have a good chance at arriving at some 'objective' 'truth' . . . whatever that is.

One cliff hazard is a TYPE I error

Not so sure. You might be looking at the shadow side as your looking in the general direction of the sun. Mars has a thinner atmosphere and may allow this phenomena. But Mars science is not my area so I am only guessing...

JPL can calculate the orbits of these moons or captured asteroids, since they know the exact direction and time the image was taken, they would know in a minute if this is what they were looking at.

I don't know about any connection between Christ and UFOs other than that

ET'S FROM WHATEVER GALAXY, DIMENSION ETC. WILL HAVE TO

BOW THEIR KNEES (at least their hearts) AND CONFESS THAT JESUS IS LORD.

I jokingly often ask on hearing of this or that event with an uncommon ET race . . . do they have knees and tongues?

Some people assert that at Christ's assension, he arose into a UFO created cloud and thence into a UFO for transport back to Heaven. Could have been.

But I don't personally think He needs to bother with such mechanical means of appearing, disappearing etc. He who spoke all that is into existence is likely beyond such.

There is also the contention from multiple sources that ET's created all the spiritual figures of the earth as a means of social control of THEIR creation--mankind.

I postulated this 30-40 years ago--that ET's would end up having some advanced visual/auditory means of purporting to show historical events to try and disconfirm Christ's deity. Now I have come across reports that there are such holographic videos in government archives. I consdier all such a very clever hoax. Satan has been working on what the Bible calls the GREAT DECEPTION of end times for thousands of years.

Supposedly one of the reasons the government has been hesitant to disclose anything is the jolt that would result to the world's religious belief system(s).

But it's logical. The Bible is clear about a man of sin, satan incarnate pretending successfully for 3.5 years to be the Jewish Messiah and Christ incarnate--heading a world government which will require every living soul to bear a mark [chip implant? SLAG] without which they will be unable to buy or sell--or else be executed for refusing the mark and claiming allegiance to God.

And, now, in an era the Bible describes as including knowledge being greatly expanded and widely spread . . . . and people going to and fro upon the earth rapidly . . . 100's of pieces of the puzzle are falling into place preciesely as The Bible has predicted 2,000 to 2,800 years ago.

As the Chinese saying goes . . .

I consider my observations rather humble ones, BTW. Many are far better at such than I am.

As to Christ and my humility--He knows very well, having poured, fired, pounded, pulverized and infected me with so many waves and layers of such over so many long dark nights of the soul. But hey, think what you will.

He also has had to get stern with me a couple of decades ago and more pointedly ever since . . . about wimping out so much.

Given that He did not wimp out on the Cross for me, I have tried to be more obedient to Him about being assertive about things I've observed, learned, been shown.

But, think what you will. Free will is a priceless gift that should be exercised.

Perhaps more carefully at some times.

The UFO stuff just started out 40+ years ago as a part of my interest in science fiction. Then . . . my relative filled me in on his job experiences . . . as have others I've known . . . pluss thousands of pages of reading . . . great, fascinating subject . . .

The UFO I saw as a kid, (multiple witnesses BTW), in the early 60's looked similar to this photo, round with a tower on the top of it. A photo appeared in J.Allen Hynek's book some 8 or 9 years after I saw this thing. The photo confirmed my sighting. (FYI-UFO buffs: was nearly identical to the McMinnvile photos.)

I have never had another sighting of this magnitude in the last 40 years! Amazing stuff out there!

It will be interesting to see what the experts say.
