It's just all the painful noise between now and then . . . that's a bit . . . more than a little annoying.

Though, the 91st Psalm; 23rd Psalm etc. illustrate the comforts God affords HIS OWN.

And now on Nat Geo they are using Tolkien's movie to support the notion of globalism--though with some subtlety.

Sheesh. I have known Nat Geo was a globalist hourseorgan the board members are board members on a lot of globalist supporting enterprises. But it's still sad to see.

Thanks for the fascinating article, Quix. I will read Greer's new book. I'm one of those who is willing to accept what the credible witnesses, including astronauts, have to say about ETs, though I'm not in favor of the push for global government.

The National Geographic program on the NG channel was going into Tolkien and the background of the novels.

And some of the stars and commentary--especially closer to the end of the program--began to talk increasingly overtly but ever subtly about how some sort of global niceness, government or some such would help us in removing evil from the world akin to Frodo and his quest.

And the question was asked, would we have the courage to remove evil from our world.

It seemed clear to me that it was yet another bit of very subtle to not so subtle conditioning--seeding thoughts to make it seem exceedingly intelligent, wise, with-it, kosher, essential etc. to support notions toward a global government.

It was very slickly done. The actor playing Gandalf was the most overt spokesman toward globalism.

I see it as foundationally, essentially evil until Christ leads HIS global government.

I think it was a very slick taking advantage of the popularity of the movies and the story to do what the puppet masters have been doing for decades with increasing overtness . . . seeding USA and global citizens with the ideas that a global government is the only thing that will save us from

etc.

Trouble is,

The Global Government Tyranny will be worse than all the historical tyrannies combined--and far more evil.

There is no doubt that many strange things are seen in the sky. I have seen (on documentaries) some things that I would LOVE to study in detail; very strange.

However, this does NOT imply alien visitation.

If aliens are visiting us, what makes them so shy? Why the dozens or hundreds of differently-shaped and differently-moving spacecraft?

Why not just land on the White House Lawn and give the "Take me to your leader" line?

Also, interstellar travel is so difficult as to make their evident shyness and penchant for "abductions" even more difficult to swallow.

Why come all this way just to play hide-and-seek?

There are a number of plausible answers to your questions.

I would be very interested in your response to his book. I might even be interested enough in your response and Poohbah's response to pry loose some of my scarce funds to send you a copy--if you'd actually read it.

Was just reading some more of it last night. He sounds exceedingly like someone who has experienced the contacts and reports he's describing. As one who has thousands of interviewer hours under his belt, it is inconceivable to me that the author of that book is not largely telling the truth as he knows it, construes it.

And the implications are not minor.

A lot of assumptions will be biting the dust in the next decade or 3. A lot of assumptions and 'realities' as we have known them.

But that doesn't surprise me that much. Given the umpteen Biblical prophecies which have come true already, it's a no brainer that the rest of them will also come true. That they seem to be scheduled to mostly conclude in our lifetime is certainly an interesting fact.
