Out of curiousity I am taking a survey. I am hoping to get a large sample to compare. Yes, I am even doing this without a government grant.
Two questions :
(1) What is your political affiliation?
(2) What is your favorite pet? Cats, dogs, or something else (please be specific).
TOPICS: Miscellaneous; Pets/Animals
KEYWORDS: amphibians; cats; dogs; mammals; pets; politics; reptiles; survey

My son has to do a math project with similar questions. Would you mind if we use the results? I need 100 responses to do so.
I am republican and my favorite pet is a beagle : )

I am not old enough to vote, but my parents are Republicans, so I guess I would be one too. My favorite pet is my kitten which is a calico that I named Callie.

Sure. I need to organize them. I don't know how many I have scattered around. I might run around my neighborhood and do a man on the street interview to get a lot of responses.

Ya know what. Let me see what question he is planning on using and maybe I can edit it and have him join FR and post.
I have no idea how my 11 year old is going to go around and find 100 people on the street and I am not sure If I even want him talking to strangers on the street.
I would like his question to be political in nature.
Something like do you think the war on Iraq was right?
Or what is your favorite news show.
Do you support Arnold as Gov....
Something to that effect however the teacher may not approve a political question.

I was meaning it was something I will probably be doing. Just from my message boards and email. I have 55 responses on my survey.

Conservative - vote Republican which is not conservative enough.
Dogs - especially small terrier-mix pound puppies

I am a political conservative and tend to vote Republican. The pet that I would like to have is a python or boa constrictor. I'm looking for something that would reach a maximum length of about six or seven feet and be a heavy-bodied snake. Ball Python is a good possibility. I'm also looking a couple of species of boa.

Border Collie; I have always voted Republican, but ideologically, I am somewhat libertarian.
Why do you call yourself "HungarianGypsy" ?
Gypsies (i.e. the "Romani people") are a nomadic people that originate from India. They do not integrate with the community of the country into which they wander. That would be against gypsy custom. Thus, gypsies only marry and/or have offspring with other gypsies. Thus, Hungarians are not gypsies.

My ancestry is really Hungarian. My nick on my college bbs board was Gypsy. The username Gypsy is very common on the Internet, so I was never able to use it. So, went with Hungarian Gypsy. ;-)
