What are they using as an explosive or an initiator. Is it simple gunpowder + electric spark? I’m not stupid but I have no idea how to gain access to good explosions]s and blasting caps. I guess that makes me a pitiful terrorist. I’m just curious. I just figure thes IED in the US would be gunpowder based but there is never more details. In th Middle East there are tons of HE laying about (mortar, artillery, gravity bombs) but in the USA our government gives that 100 billion of equipment laying around (including automatic weapons - infantry, squad, vehicle …) just laying around. Not including RPGS, LAWS NLAWS, TOWS….
I just a thought but not advocating it but Russia could just flood USA crime, gang, gender extremism types with massive weapons like we appear to leave laying around in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen Gaza, Lebanon…. The us government drops tons of weapons in countries that would get any of us life sentences if we had them. This has always pissed me off and is a giant double standard.

Another article said firecrackers and a liquid accelerant like gas or lighter fluid, packed with metal, like nails, scrap and screws, in a coffee container.
