I wouldn’t go politics on a first date of any sort... you don’t need to go there to feel out someones values.
Young women today are by and large SELFISH and SELF ABSORBED creatures... at least in the US. Don’t need to ask 1 single solitary political question to discover who they are... actions speak louder than words.
Honestly I find it amazing how many people put their politics , right or left, on their profiles when going on dating apps or sights... If your politics define you that much that you feel you need to announce it “first thing” to everyone, then you are not marriage material IMHO regardless of which side of the aisle you are on... even if I agreed with your political views 100%, if of all thing things in life and you as person are, THAT’S at the top of you defining yourself as... you have issues, DEEP ISSUES IMHO.
I use politics more as an IQ test.
Increasingly, politics are an obvious sign of life values and reasonableness. If a woman believes in pregnant men - RUN! If a man believes in women with dicks - RUN! You aren’t dealing with SANE people - and democrats have all bought in to the insanity.
A single woman who is a Democrat is almost always bat-shit crazy. One might find the 1 in 100 who isn’t, but why bother?
