Why would they want to spoil the experience of the sun being blocked by turning on BRIGHT LIGHTS?

Well that’s dumb. Areas near us did fireworks at totality which I thought weren’t necessary.

I saw dumb asses on network TV just an hour ago. The entire scene was almost totally dark with the exception that the idiot camera guy HAD TO HAVE HIS CAMERA LIGHT ON.
