The craziness has ramped up to a point I find hard to believe.

The "money-line" iin Kuntsler's exceptionally thoughtful analysis:
The two traditional political divisions, liberal and conservative died with Covid. Now there are simply the sane versus the insane.

This week, the CDC (under Director Mandy Cohen) released a 148-page study on myocarditis reactions to mRNA shots. Every word on every page of the document was redacted.

This statement demands elaboration and clarification. The use of hyperbole or "bending the truth a little" does not serve the cause of truth.

It was not a study, but rather a compilation of e-mails covered by Exemption 5 of the FOIA, which protects "inter-agency or intra-agency memorandums or letters which would not be available by law to a party other than an agency in litigation with the agency."

Given the circumstances, I still find it outrageous that these e-mails - e-mails about the MOVING study - weren't released, but they did not comprise a "study," and redacting them was in accordance with currently valid law.

Further, I am not as sanguine as the author about Western Civilization now finally "waking up." Sadly, I think that it has to get worse before it gets better.

Regards,

“The craziness has ramped up to a point I find hard to believe.”

It is surreal.

The insanity is hard to witness. It’s depressing to watch our once great nation travel down the current path. I don’t have much hope that it will ever get better and the older I get, the more sure I am of the truthfulness of the Bible because this is all predicted in it. God has done what He said He would do: He’s turned them over to their reprobate minds. That’s exactly what we are seeing: decisions made by those with reprobate minds.

I know people who think everything is fine. Everything is normal. Nothing has changed. Things have always been this way.

And I know people who don’t understand why we’re not shooting yet.

Interesting times.

Daily, repetitively and hourly inundating the news venue with false, conflicting, badly articulated, laughably jejune, demonstrably pejorative material is all part of the Liberal agenda to demotivate voters and to paralyze the system.

They intend to make the US chaotic, anarchic, lawless and ungovernable. Meanwhile, our ‘Republican’ political eunuchs cannot bring themselves to impede, much less end the Liberal march to domination.

Excellent essay by Mr.Kunstler. Thanks for posting.

I woke this morning thinking how none of this is normal, how everything is utterly insane, and how depressing and hopeless it all feels. Then Mr. Kunstler’s fine piece perfectly expressed what I was feeling. None of this is by accident or coincidence.

Brace yourself for a lot more to come. Our society has been conditioned to accept insanity and dysfunction.

The frog has been boiled.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The problem is that accountability is dead and there is no political will to restore it to any degree.

Corruption is too deeply embedded now and our culture largely accepts it.

See, and here is my problem. Who? Where?

I cannot figure it out, so I become motionless.

I guess I am no threat.

These people are called anarchists and they have always been with us.

If you use AI it expresses anarchism as POSITIVE political movement!!

an·ar·chism

[ˈanərˌkizəm] noun

a political theory advocating the abolition of hierarchical government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion. anarchists as a political force or movement:

* "ruling-class fears of international anarchism during the 1890s"

That’s an interesting comment.

Recall if you will John Adams’ view that only one third favored the Revolution, one third opposed it, and one third were undecided. Most colonists were willing to let it slide.

Today a lot of people are inclined to not want to change. Its a disruptive, discomforting and unsettling thought process for them. Convincing people that they need to do something, even for self-preservation, is no easy task. Just saying.
